Sponges are great for cleaning kitchens,cellulose sponge sheet but their pores can hold tiny bacteria, mold, and easily spread bacteria. Fortunately, you can keep sponges nearly sterile by removing bacteria from the microwave, putting them in the dishwasher, or soaking them in bleach. Be sure to replace the sponges regularly and allow them to dry between uses.

Method 1: Microwave sponge

1. Soak the sponge in water and place in a microwave-safe bowl. konjac body spongeRinse the sponge under running water for 30 seconds to saturate it completely. Do not squeeze or wring out the sponge, as you should retain as much of it as possible. Place wet sponges in glass, plastic, or ceramic bowls that can be safely placed in the microwave.

Note: Never use a microwave sponge with a metal or plastic scrubber, as these may cause a fire or electric shock hazard in the microwave oven. It is best to use a dishwasher or soak in a bleach solution to clean these sponges.

2. A sponge and a cup with a system containing 0.5 cup (120 mL) of water can be placed in the microwave. Place the bowls and cups with different sponges mainly in the production microwave oven, as close together as possible. If your microwave has a rotary table, make sure that both projects are close to the data center.

A glass of water will ensure that the sponge stays moist in the microwave. If it gets too dry, the sponge will melt or catch fire.

3. Microwave sponge for 1-2 minutes. First, microwaves can kill up to 99% of bacteria in sponges in one minute. If the sponge smells when the microwave is turned on, be sure to reheat it. Make sure it's still wet; If not, re-soak the sponge. Then, microwave for 30-60 seconds.

Some sponges naturally emit an unpleasant smell when they are hot. If the sponge smells like plastic, it doesn't need to be reheated.

4. Let the sponge cool in the microwave for 10-15 minutes. Open the microwave door and let the sponge sit for at least 10 minutes, then try to pick it up or remove it from the bowl. Then, squeeze the excess water out of the sponge.

Keep in mind that once the sponge is removed from the microwave, it will become very hot on its own. Don't try to pick it up or take it out of the bowl before it cools the system.

Method 2: Soak and clean the sponge

1. Prepare a 10% bleach solution in a bowl. Add 9 parts water and 1 part bleach to a glass, plastic, or ceramic bowl and stir the mixture thoroughly. Make sure there is enough solution to completely submerge the sponge.

Be careful when using bleach, as it can be harmful if left on the skin for a long time.

The solution is strongly diluted, but you should wear a pair of rubber cleaning gloves to protect your skin from irritation.

2. Soak the sponge in bleach for 5-10 minutes. When soaking, the sponge is pushed with a wooden spoon or spatula so that the solution can spread throughout our construction sponge. Every 2-3 minutes, pick it up again and squeeze some liquid out of the sponge, and then put its product back into the solution.

This helps ensure that the bleach permeates the sponge completely, helping to remove stains and debris.

3. Remove the sponge from the solution and rinse thoroughly. After at least 5 minutes, pull the sponge out of the solution and squeeze out all the liquid. Then, rinse the sponge with warm water for 30 seconds, squeeze and wring out the sponge to remove the bleach and any loose debris.

Tip: If the sponge smells after cleaning, soak it in bleach again, but add 1 part white vinegar to neutralize the smell.

4. Place the sponge on the top shelf of the dishwasher for deep cleaning. Set the dishwasher for the longest and hottest cycle and make sure the sponge is on a wire rack. Choose a heated and dry water cycle that kills the most bacteria and germs.

This teaching method of study is applicable to almost any type of sponge, including synthetic and metal scrubbers.

Method 3: Use sponge correctly

1. Replace the sponge every 1-2 weeks. Sponges don't last forever, and the longer you have them, the more bacteria they contain. If you use a kitchen sponge every day, try replacing it once a week, or once every two weeks if you don't use it often.

If your sponge starts to smell or change color, throw it away immediately and replace it.

2. Place the sponge on a plate to air dry before use. After rinsing, squeeze the sponge to remove excess water. Then, expose it to the edge of a dish or sink so that the sponge is completely dry between uses.

Mold and bacteria can multiply quickly in moist sponges, especially in warm, humid environments.

3, avoid using sponges on surfaces that have been in contact with raw meat. Do not use sponges, but we use and other relevant materials in time to clean the raw juice in the meat. Choose rags, towels, or paper towels to wipe down cutting boards and counters.

Disinfecting wipes are also a good option for wiping down counters that need cleaning. Sponge seams are easy to breed bacteria, but cloths and rags have poor water absorption.
